LiquidLEDs Warranty Coverage

LiquidLEDs stands behind the quality of its products. This page covers what is and is not covered under our Express Warranty.

What Is Covered?

Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions. This includes:

  • Products that fail significantly before their expected lifespan
  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Products that do not perform as described

What Is Not Covered?

The following are not covered under our warranty:

  • Physical damage caused by mishandling, dropping or incorrect installation
  • Damage caused by using the product with an incompatible dimmer, transformer or driver
  • Damage caused by operating the product outside its rated voltage (for example, using a 12V or 24V bulb on 240V mains power)
  • Products that have been modified, repaired or tampered with
  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Damage caused by power surges or electrical faults in the property
  • Water, moisture or liquid ingress for products not rated for wet locations
  • Cosmetic wear including surface scratches, fading or discolouration that does not affect product function

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply regardless of these exclusions.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Locate the batch number printed on the metal base of the bulb, or on the label of the driver or fitting
  2. Take a short video or photos of the product showing the issue
  3. Note your order number and approximate date of purchase
  4. Contact us via our Contact Us page and select Warranty Claim from the enquiry type dropdown

Our team will review your claim and get back to you within 1 to 2 business days. In most cases, if the fault is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement without requiring you to return the faulty product.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality. These rights apply regardless of any warranty terms stated here.
